Kabelberekening KABEL++ is a cablecalculationprogram that calculates powercable-sizes. The ease of use was the goal when the software was designed: The user simply inputs the motoraxispower and the software fully calculates the cablesize and selectivity. So no need to choose for the safetysize, nor to scroll in a cablesizetable to match the output: The software all does the job. As well as the safety, the crosssectiona as the selectivity are fully calculated.

The calculation program is suitable for the Windows XP/Vista/7 environment.
There are two versions: a Light version and an Advanced version both in English, German and Dutch language

Goal of the program
The goal of thee program is to calculate the variation in power, cable length, voltage, frequency, layout etc. of an electric cable connected to a motor or static load, while maintaining the maximum amount of user-friendliness and clarity.

Kabelberekening The program is intended for use in the calculation of cables and transformer installations in an industrial environment. The main issues involve the thermic load, voltage loss and short-circuit calculations, so that the user encounters no further problems.

Licence
After the purchase of one licence, the program may be used within an office network (multi-licence) without additional costs. The software does not require a dongle or suchlike.

The relevant norms are BS7671 17e ed (Requirements for electrical installations) and IEC60364. This also indirectly apply to cable construction norms such as BS5467 for XLPE cable. Further applicable NEC NFPA 70 ANSI).
